In Malaga, Spain in the summertime, there’s nothing better to do in the evening than to take a walk along the paseo maritimo and stop at a chirinquito to eat sardines.  I know many Americans would turn up their nose at sardines, but they really are delicious, especially cooked like this.  Freshly caught fish are cleaned and scaled, and then put on a long stick over an open fire.
